Understanding the Purpose of Man’s Creation

Allah (SWT) created mankind for two main purposes:

1. To worship Him (Ibadah).
2. To be His vicegerent (Khalifah) on Earth, meaning to take care of the world and live righteously.

These purposes are not just for specific religious rituals but should guide all our daily activities.

Ways of Applying the Purpose of Creation in Daily Activities

We can apply the purpose of creation in our daily lives through:

1. Worship (Ibadah) in Daily Life

Worship is not only about praying or fasting. Many daily activities can become acts of worship if done with the right intention (niyyah) and according to Islamic teachings. Examples include:

1. Performing Salah (prayer) on time.
2. Reciting the Qur’an.
3. Giving Sadaqah (charity) to those in need.

3. Good Conduct (Akhlaq)

Good conduct is essential for fulfilling Allah’s purpose. It means behaving in a way that pleases Allah and benefits others. Examples of good conduct in daily life are:

1. Being honest in all dealings.
2. Showing patience when faced with difficulties.
3. Being grateful for Allah’s blessings.
4. Forgiving others and avoiding anger.
5. Respecting elders and being kind to younger ones.
