Text and Meaning of Suratul Fil

The following is the Arabic text and simple English translation of Suratul Fil:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Did He not make their plot go astray?
And He sent against them flocks of birds,
Pelting them with stones of baked clay,
    Making them like eaten straw.
