Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was a great Prophet of Allah known for his unwavering faith. He lived among people who worshipped idols, including his own father. Ibrahim (AS) challenged their idolatry, proving that only Allah is worthy of worship. He was thrown into a fire by King Nimrod for his beliefs, but Allah saved him. He migrated with his family and later, with his son Ismail (AS), built the Ka’aba in Makkah. He was also tested with the command to sacrifice his son Ismail, which he was ready to obey until Allah replaced Ismail with a ram.

Moral Lessons from Prophet Ibrahim (AS):

  1. Tawhid (Oneness of Allah): Prophet Ibrahim (AS) taught us to worship only Allah and reject all forms of idolatry.

Biography of Prophet Musa (AS)

Prophet Musa (Moses) was sent to Pharaoh and the Children of Israel. He was born during a time when Pharaoh was killing all male Israelite infants. His mother placed him in a basket on the Nile River, and he was found and raised in Pharaoh’s palace. Musa (AS) accidentally killed an Egyptian and fled to Midian, where he received prophethood. He returned to confront Pharaoh, who oppressed the Children of Israel. Allah supported Musa (AS) with many miracles, including turning his staff into a snake and sending plagues upon Egypt. When Pharaoh pursued Musa (AS) and his people, Allah split the Red Sea for them to pass, and Pharaoh and his army drowned. Musa (AS) later received the Torah (Taurat) on Mount Sinai.

Moral Lessons from Prophet Musa (AS):

  1. Trust in Allah: He always trusted in Allah’s help, even in the most dangerous situations.

He called his people, the Children of Israel, to worship Allah alone and follow His commands. He faced rejection and betrayal from some of his people. Allah raised him to Himself, and he will return before the Day of Judgment.

Teacher Guide for Using This Lesson Plan

Before the lesson, gather relevant pictures, audio, or video clips that depict the lives and times of Prophets Ibrahim, Musa, and Isa. Ensure these visuals are age-appropriate and engaging for Primary 4 pupils. Begin by activating prior knowledge about Prophets to connect with the new topic. Narrate the biographies clearly and concisely, highlighting key events and challenges each Prophet faced. Facilitate a guided discussion for each Prophet to extract the moral lessons, ensuring pupils understand the significance of each lesson. Encourage pupils to compare selected moral lessons from the accounts to deepen their critical thinking. During the evaluation stage, ask questions directly related to the biographies and moral lessons discussed. Guide pupils to copy the Board Summary notes neatly into their notebooks. For weaker learners, provide simpler explanations and ensure they grasp at least one key event and one moral lesson for each Prophet. For advanced learners, encourage them to think critically about how these ancient lessons are relevant today. Always maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
