Lesson Content/Board Summary

Revision of Selected Prophets of Allah

Prophets of Allah are special messengers sent by Allah to guide humanity. Their lives teach us important lessons about faith, obedience, patience, and good character.

Prophet Adam (A.S.)

Prophet Adam (A.S.) was the first human being and the first Prophet. Allah created him from clay and taught him all names. He was placed in Paradise but was later sent to Earth after disobeying Allah’s command not to eat from a specific tree.

  1. Lesson: We should always seek forgiveness from Allah when we make mistakes and learn from them.

Prophet Nuh (A.S.)

Prophet Nuh (A.S.) was sent to a people who worshipped idols. He called them to Allah for many years, but they refused to listen. Allah commanded him to build an ark, and only those who believed were saved from the great flood.

  1. Lesson: We should be patient and persistent in calling others to good, even when faced with rejection.

Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.)

Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) was known for his strong faith and devotion to Allah. He challenged idol worship and was willing to sacrifice his son, Isma’il, for Allah’s command, which Allah replaced with a ram. He also rebuilt the Ka’aba with his son Isma’il.

  1. Lesson: We should have complete trust and obedience in Allah, even in difficult situations.

Teacher Guide for Using This Lesson Plan

Before the lesson, ensure you have charts or flashcards with the names of selected Prophets (Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim) ready. Begin by engaging pupils in a brief recall of previous knowledge to set the stage for revision. Guide them through the stories of each Prophet, focusing on key events and explicitly drawing out the moral lessons. Encourage active participation through questions and answers. Pay attention to pupils who might struggle with recall and offer gentle prompts. For faster learners, ask them to elaborate on the relevance of these lessons in modern times. The evaluation questions should directly assess their ability to identify Prophets and state a lesson from each. Conclude by reinforcing the overall importance of the Prophets’ teachings for character development.
