Lybro may maintain separate last-read locations for different available files of the same book while using the most recently used file to determine the book’s current overall reading progress.
Some reading information may be stored locally on your device. Where account synchronization or server-backed library features are provided, relevant information may also be associated with your account.
2.3 Audiobook Activity
When you use audiobook features, we may process information such as:
- Audiobook selected
- Playback position
- Playback progress
- Listening history
- Audio source or file used
- Playback settings
This information is used to resume playback and improve the audiobook experience.
2.4 Downloads and Offline Content
Lybro and HeadTeacher.ng may allow content to be downloaded or cached for offline use.

Downloaded content generally remains on your device until you remove it, clear application data, uninstall the application, or the application removes expired cache files.

Purchases on Android are processed through Google Play Billing.

When you purchase or restore a subscription, we may process and store information including:

- Google Play subscription product ID
- Google Play base-plan ID

Google recommends sending purchase tokens to a secure backend and verifying purchases through the Google Play Developer API before granting subscription benefits.
3.2 Payment Information
We do not directly collect or store your full payment-card or bank-account details for Google Play purchases.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play.

10. Reading History, Progress, Bookmarks, and Highlights
Lybro is designed to remember where you stopped reading.
For books with multiple formats or sources:
- Each downloaded or available book file may maintain its own last reading location
- The most recently used file may determine the overall progress shown for the book
- Switching between EPUB, PDF, Smart Reader, or other supported formats may update the canonical book progress
- Returning to a previously used file may restore that file’s own saved reading position
Reading data is used to provide:
- Continue Reading
- Reading history
- Progress indicators
- Resume position
- Reading statistics where offered
You may be able to remove locally stored progress by clearing app data or using available account/library controls.
11. User-Generated Content
Where we provide comments, annotations, community discussions, reviews, or similar features, information you intentionally publish may become visible to other users.
Please do not post sensitive personal information in publicly visible content.
We may moderate or remove content that violates our terms, community standards, applicable law, or safety requirements.
