Importance of Reciting and Memorising the Qur’an

Reciting and memorising the Qur’an is a highly rewarding act in Islam. It helps Muslims connect with Allah’s words, understand His guidance, and apply it in their daily lives. Correct recitation involves pronouncing each letter and word accurately, following the rules of Tajwid.

Memorisation involves learning the verses by heart, often in small, manageable units, to ensure accuracy and retention. Writing the Qur’anic text helps in both memorisation and understanding the structure of the verses.

Suratul Tariq (The Night-Comer)

Suratul Tariq is the 86th chapter of the Qur’an, consisting of 17 verses. It discusses the creation of man and the Day of Judgment.

Suratul Buruj (The Constellations)

Suratul Buruj is the 85th chapter of the Qur’an, consisting of 22 verses. It narrates the story of the People of the Ditch and warns against persecuting believers.

Suratul Inshiqaq (The Sundering)

Suratul Inshiqaq is the 84th chapter of the Qur’an, consisting of 25 verses. It describes the events of the Day of Judgment and the reckoning of deeds.
