Suratul Naba’i is the 78th chapter of the Holy Qur’an. It is a Makki Surah, revealed in Makkah, and focuses on important aspects of the Day of Judgment, the resurrection, and the rewards and punishments that await mankind.

The following are verses 26-30 of Suratul Naba’i:
Meaning of Verses 26-30
- Verse 26: “A fitting recompense.” (This refers to the punishment in Hellfire being a just consequence for their deeds.)
- Verse 27: “For indeed, they did not expect a reckoning.” (The disbelievers did not believe in or prepare for the Day of Judgment.)
- Verse 28: “And they denied Our signs with a strong denial.” (They rejected the signs of Allah, including His messengers, books, and creation.)
- Verse 29: “But all things We have recorded in a book.” (Every action, big or small, is recorded by Allah and will be presented on the Day of Judgment.)
- Verse 30: “So taste you, for We will not increase you except in torment.” (This is a severe warning to the disbelievers that their punishment in Hellfire will be continuous and will only intensify.)
