Simple athletic activities are fundamental movements that form the basis of many sports and physical exercises.
These include:
- Running: Practise running straight with good form.
- Jumping: Learn basic jumping, like long jump or high jump.
- Throwing: Practice throwing a ball or object accurately.
- Hopping: Practice hopping on one foot,then the other,maintaining balance.
- Skipping: Combine hopping and stepping in a rhythmic manner.
Safety Rules in Athletics
Following safety rules keeps us safe and prevents injuries. Vital safety rules include:
- Always warm up before starting any activity.Warming up prepares your body and reduces injury risk.
- Wear proper clothes and shoes. Proper attire provides support and comfort.
- Follow the teacher’s instructions. This ensures you do activities correctly and safely.
- Avoid perilous areas or obstacles. Be aware of your surroundings.
- Ask for help if needed. Don’t hesitate to ask the teacher for help or clarification.
