Selecting appropriate Housing For Farm Animals

Farm animals need special houses to protect them from danger, weather, and disease. Each type of animal needs a different kind of house and care.

Types of Farm Animals and their Housing

Different animals live in different houses.Each house must suit the animal’s size and way of life.

Examples are:

Chicken – Poultry house
Rabbit – Hutch
Goat – Goat pen
Pig – Pigsty
Cow – Cattle shed
Sheep – Sheep pen
guinea pig – cage
Duck – Duck house
Turkey – turkey pen
Horse – Stable

Equipment Used in Animal Housing

Animal houses need tools and items to care for the animals. These tools help in feeding, watering, and cleaning.
