Environmental Health
Environmental health refers to aspects of human health, including quality of life, that are resolute by physical, chemical, biological, social, and psychosocial factors in the surrounding environment. it also refers to the theory and practice of assessing, correcting, controlling, and preventing those factors in the environment that can possibly affect adversely the health of present and future generations.
Importance of Environmental Health
Maintaining a healthy environment is essential for the well-being of individuals and communities. the importance of environmental health includes:

Environmental Health in Practice
Environmental health examines how air, water, food, housing, waste, chemicals, noise, disease vectors and sanitation affect human health. Its purpose is to prevent harm by improving surroundings, not only to treat people after illness.
Useful actions include safe water, toilets and drainage, covered waste collection, ventilation, food hygiene, vector control and responsible chemical storage. Community action is necessary because one household’s dumping can affect many others.
