Meaning and Care of Our Environment

The environment refers to everything around us, including air, water, plants, animals, and man-made objects like buildings and roads. It is where we live and interact.

How to Care for Our Environment:

Caring for our environment involves practices that protect and preserve it for current and future generations.These include:

1. Keep our surroundings clean by disposing of waste properly.
2. Avoid cutting down trees unnecessarily.
3. Plant flowers and trees in our surroundings.
4. Reduce,reuse,and recycle waste materials.
5. Avoid burning waste that can harm the air.
6. Conserve water by fixing leaks and using water wisely.
7. Use energy-efficient appliances and reduce energy consumption.
8. Support eco-pleasant products and practices.

Caring for the Environment

The environment includes the air, water, land, plants, animals, buildings and people around us. Care means preventing litter, disposing of waste correctly, protecting drains and water sources, planting and tending suitable trees, and using resources without needless waste.

Sweeping litter into a drain only moves the problem. Waste should be sorted or placed in approved containers, and hazardous waste must be handled by trained adults.
