Leaf printing is the use of leaves to make art on paper. It is indeed done by painting the back of a leaf and pressing it on paper. It shows the shape and lines of the leaf.

The following are uses of leaf printing:

  1. To decorate greeting cards
  2. To make designs on paper
  3. To learn about nature through art
  4. To create classroom art projects
  5. To make wrapping papers
  6. To create unique patterns on fabrics
  7. To design posters and banners

Meaning of Natural Basic Body Movements

Natural body movements are movements we make with our body every day.They are not learned from anyone. They are used in dancing and playing.

These include:

  1. Walking
  2. Running
  3. Jumping
  4. Bending
  5. Twisting
  6. Turning
  7. Stretching
  8. Crawling
  9. Leaping
  10. Hopping

Elements of Movement: Time, Space, Mood

Movements happen with feelings and in places. They also have speed and time.

These include:

  1. Time – how fast or slow the movement is
  2. Space – where the movement happens
  3. Mood – how we feel when moving
