Care of the Skin

The skin is the outer covering of the body. It protects us from diseases and keeps our body safe. We must take care of our skin every day.

Types of Skin

Skin is not the same for everybody. Some skin feels soft, some smooth, and some coarse. The following are types of skin:

Coarse skin

Items for Skin Care

To care for the skin, we use different items daily to keep it clean and healthy. The following are items for skin care:

Soap
Water
Sponge
Towel
Body cream
Lotion
Powder
Cosmetics

Skin Infections

When we do not care for the skin properly, it can become infected. Skin infections make the skin itchy and unpleasant. Examples are:
