Our hands and feet are very important parts of the body. They help us to do many things every day. We must know their functions and take care of them.

Identification of Hands and Feet

The hand is the part of the body at the end of the arm. It has fingers and a palm. The foot is the part at the end of the leg. It has toes and a heel.

Functions of the Hands

The following are functions of the hands:

Writing in books
Eating food
Holding objects
Washing clothes
Carrying things

Functions of the Feet

The following are functions of the feet:

Walking from place to place
Running during play or exercise
Jumping in games
Standing upright
Kicking a ball
