Modern Materials For Cleaning The Teeth

Modern materials help us to clean our teeth better and keep our mouths fresh. They are easy to use and are made to prevent tooth decay and bad breath.

Toothbrush: The toothbrush is a modern tool used to brush teeth. It removes food particles and dirt from the mouth.

Toothpaste: Toothpaste is used with a toothbrush. It has fluoride that helps protect the teeth from holes and keeps the breath fresh.

Mouthwash: Mouthwash is a liquid used to rinse the mouth. It kills germs and makes the mouth smell fresh.

Dental Floss: Dental floss is a thin thread used to remove food stuck between the teeth.

Modern Teeth-Cleaning Materials

A soft toothbrush removes food particles and plaque from tooth surfaces. Fluoride toothpaste helps strengthen enamel and prevent tooth decay when used correctly. Dental floss cleans carefully between teeth where a brush may not reach.

Brush gently twice daily with a small amount of toothpaste, spit it out and do not share a toothbrush. Toothpicks and sharp objects can injure gums. Persistent pain, swelling or bleeding should be reported to an adult and checked by a dental professional.
