What is Decorating?

decorating means adding something pretty or interesting to an object to make it look nicer. This could be adding colors, patterns, textures, or other things to make it more appealing.

Steps in Decorating a Maracas

The following are the steps involved in decorating a maracas:

  1. Gather Materials: First, get everything you need: plain and colored paper, glue, scissors, markers, and your maracas.
  2. Plan Your Design: Before you start, plan what you want to make. You can draw it on paper first. Think of a theme, like animals or flowers, or just let your imagination go!
  3. Cut and Prepare Materials: Now, cut out shapes and patterns from the colored paper. You can cut simple shapes or make more complex designs.
  4. Glue the Decorations: Glue your decorations onto your maracas. make sure the glue is spread evenly and press down firmly so thay stick.
