Making a Gong

A gong is a musical instrument that makes a sound when hit with a mallet. it’s used in many types of music and ceremonies.

Steps in Making a Gong

Here are the steps to follow when making a gong:

1. Gather materials: You’ll need a metal plate or lid, string or rope, a wooden stick or mallet, scissors, tape or glue, and things to decorate it.
2. Make a handle: Tie a piece of string or rope to the metal plate or lid to make a handle so it’s easier to hold and hit.
3. Secure the handle: Use tape or glue to make sure the handle stays on.
4. Test the sound: Hit the gong with the wooden stick to hear the sound. You can change how long the handle is or how hard you hit it to change the sound.
5. Decorate: Use paint, stickers, or other things to make your gong look special.
