Precautionary Tips on Personal Security

Personal security means staying safe from people or things that can harm us. It helps us to know how to behave in public and private places.

The following are tips to stay safe every day:

Do not talk to strangers
Always tell your parents where you are going
Walk in groups when going out
Avoid dark and lonely places
Keep emergency numbers in your bag
Do not collect gifts from people you do not know
close your doors and windows when alone at home
Do not share personal information with strangers
Report any suspicious person to an adult
Always wear your school ID card
Avoid displaying expensive items in public
Be aware of your surroundings at all times
Learn basic self-defense techniques
