Maintenance Of Security Agents

Security agents help keep our community safe. This means that we need to care for them to ensure they can do their job well.

Below are some ways to maintain security agents:

  1. Show respect: Greet them politely and avoid obstructing their work.
  2. Provide support: Offer help like water or a resting area when needed.
  3. report issues: Share critically important information that may help their work.
  4. Avoid conflict: Follow their instructions to reduce stress.
  5. Community partnership: Work with them to keep the environment secure.
  6. Offer Encouragement: Acknowledge their efforts and offer words of encouragement.
  7. Provide necessary resources: Donate items like raincoats, boots, or flashlights to help them perform their duties effectively.

Supporting Effective Security Services

Security personnel need lawful training, clear rules, working communication, protective equipment, transport, fair supervision and regular maintenance of facilities and tools. Communities help by giving truthful reports and respecting lawful safety instructions.

Support does not mean hiding misconduct. Complaints about abuse should be reported through safe, authorised channels. People must not offer bribes, spread false alarms or interfere with an emergency scene.
