The following are examples of modern security agents in Nigeria:

  1. police Force: Maintains law and order, investigates crimes, and protects citizens.
  2. Army: Defends the nation against external threats and assists in emergencies.
  3. Civil Defence Corps: Protects critical infrastructure and assists in disaster management.
  4. Road Safety Corps: Ensures road safety, controls traffic, and educates drivers.
  5. fire Service: Extinguishes fires and conducts rescue operations.
  6. Customs Service: Controls goods entering and leaving the country.
  7. Immigration Service: Monitors borders and processes travel documents.
  8. Navy: Secures nigeria’s waterways and combats piracy.
  9. Air Force: Protects Nigeria’s airspace and provides aerial defense.
  10. NDLEA (Drug Law Enforcement): Combats drug trafficking and substance abuse.
  11. State Security Service (SSS): Handles intelligence and internal security.
