Lesson Content

The Fatherhood of God

God is our heavenly Father. He created us and loves us very much. When we believe in Jesus, we become children of God. God provides, protects, and guides us like a good father. When we pray, we call Him “Our Father” because we are His children.

Memory Verse: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. – John 1:12

The Brotherhood of Man

Because God is our Father, we are all His children. This means everyone is our brother or sister. We must love one another and live in peace.

Jesus teaches us not to hate or fight. If someone offends us, we must forgive and settle the matter in love.

The Significance of Being in Christ

Being in Christ means we believe in Him and follow His teachings. We become part of God’s family and are expected to show love.

When we are in Christ:

We become children of God
We are filled with God’s love
We love others and live peacefully
