Jesus Demonstrates His Love: The Adulterous Woman

Jesus came to show love to all people, even those who have done wrong. One day, He showed great love by forgiving a woman that others wanted to punish.

The Story of the Adulterous Woman

One day, Jesus was teaching in the temple. A group of men brought a woman who had committed adultery. They told Jesus that the law said she should be stoned. They wanted to test Jesus. Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground. Then He said, One by one, the men left, because they all had sins too. Jesus looked at the woman and said,

This showed that Jesus loved her and gave her a second chance.

We learn that Jesus loves everyone, even those who do wrong. He wants us to repent and change our ways. Jesus teaches us not to judge others but to show love and forgiveness.
