Salvation Message

Salvation means being saved from sin and its punishment. It is God’s gift to us through Jesus Christ. When we receive salvation, we are forgiven and given a new life.

The penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23).

Confession of Faith

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.
Ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sins.

Romans 10:9-10 states that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Transformation Through Belief

Transformation through belief means that when we believe in Jesus and confess our faith, our lives begin to change. We become new creations in Christ, and old ways pass away.

Signs of transformation:

Desire to obey God’s word.
Love for God and others.
Turning away from sinful habits.
Having peace and joy.
Growing in understanding of the Bible.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Assurance of New Life

Assurance of new life means having confidence and certainty that we have received salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is a gift from God that we can be sure of.

Reasons for assurance:

God’s promises in the Bible are true.

God will never leave us or forsake us.

1 John 5:11-13 teaches that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life.
