Major Meals Of The Day

We eat different meals at different times of the day to keep our bodies strong and healthy. there are three major meals of the day:

  1. Breakfast – This is the first meal of the day, usually eaten in the morning. It provides the energy needed to start the day.Examples include tea and bread,pap and akara,or rice and stew.
  2. Lunch – This is the afternoon meal, eaten between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.it helps to keep us active during the day.Examples include rice and beans, yam porridge, or spaghetti.
  3. Dinner/Supper – This is the last meal of the day, eaten in the evening or at night. It should be lighter than lunch to aid digestion before sleep. Examples include eba and soup, noodles, or porridge.
