These are items worn with traditional clothes to make the outfit look better. They are often made from materials unique to a culture or area and can express identity, status, or religious beliefs.
Types of Traditional Fashion Accessories
Traditional fashion accessories enhance the look of traditional clothing and often reflect cultural identity.
The following are examples:
- Beads: Small, round objects strung together to make necklaces, bracelets, anklets, etc., often from glass, wood, bone, or shell.
- bangles: Bracelets usually made of metal, plastic, or wood, often worn in sets and decorated.
- Headwraps: Fabric tied around the head, often to cover hair, made from cotton, silk, or wool.
