Workshop safety devices are tools and equipment used to ensure safety while working in a workshop. They help prevent accidents and injuries. The following are examples:

  1. Fire Extinguisher: Used to put out small fires. To use,pull the pin,aim at the base of the fire,squeeze the handle,and sweep side to side.
  2. Safety Goggles: Protect the eyes from dust, sparks, and chemicals. Wear them over your eyes and secure the strap.
  3. Gloves: Protect the hands from sharp tools and chemicals. Choose gloves that fit well and ensure proper grip.
  4. Safety Boots: Shield the feet from falling objects and slippery surfaces. Always wear boots with non-slip soles.
  5. Face Shield: Guards the face against flying debris and sparks. Adjust the head strap for a snug fit before use.
  6. Ear plugs/Muffs: Protect hearing in noisy environments. Insert earplugs properly or wear muffs over the ears.
  7. Respirators/Masks: Prevent inhalation of harmful dust or fumes. Ensure a tight seal around the nose and mouth.
