  3. Pastoral Farming Stage – People moved from place to place with their animals in search of pasture.
  4. Shifting Cultivation Stage – Farmers cleared land, farmed for a few years, then moved to another piece of land.
  5. Permanent Farming Stage – Farmers began to settle permanently on one piece of land, using better tools and methods.
