The Human Body: A Wonderful Machine

The human body is a complex and amazing machine, made up of manny different parts, each with its own unique function. It’s a living organism with many systems working together.

Major Parts of the Human Body

The human body consists of several major parts that perform specific functions.These include:

  1. Head: Contains the brain, eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
  2. Trunk: The central part, including the chest, abdomen, and back; houses the heart, lungs, stomach, and intestines.
  3. Limbs: Arms and legs, used for movement.
  4. Neck: Connects the head to the trunk and allows for head movement.
  5. Pelvis: Located at the base of the trunk, supporting the spine and connecting to the legs.

Functions of Different Body Parts

Each part of the human body has a specific role to play in maintaining overall health and function.
They are:

  1. Eyes: Seeing.
  2. Ears: Hearing.
  3. Nose: Smelling.
  4. Mouth: Eating, speaking, breathing.
  5. Heart: pumping blood.
  6. Lungs: Breathing.
  7. Stomach: Digesting food.
  8. Intestines: Absorbing nutrients.
  9. Skin: Protection.
  10. Bones: Support and structure.
  11. Muscles: Movement.
