Rationale for the Lesson

Different Room in The Home

A home is where we live, eat, sleep, and spend time with family. Keeping our homes organized and clean is important. Keeping items in their designated rooms helps with this.

What is a designated Room?

A designated room is a space used for a specific purpose. Such as,the kitchen is for cooking,and the bedroom is for sleeping.

They are:

  1. Kitchen: Used for cooking and food planning. Keeping it clean prevents accidents.
  2. Bedroom: For sleeping and relaxing. A comfortable and quiet bedroom helps with sleep.
  3. Living Room: For spending time with family and guests. It should be comfortable and inviting.
  4. Bathroom: For washing and getting ready. Cleanliness and hygiene are important here.
  5. Study/Office Room: For work or study. A quiet and organized space helps with focus.
  6. Dining Room: For eating meals. it should be comfortable and inviting.
  7. Toilet: For passing out waste from the body. It should be kept clean always.
  8. Veranda: For relaxation and fresh air.It should be kept clean always.

Items in Each Room

Each room contains specific items that are essential for its purpose. These items help us perform various activities in each room.

Examples are:

  1. Kitchen: Plates, utensils, pots, pans, microwave, refrigerator, stove, sink, cabinets, and countertops.
  2. Bedroom: Bed, pillow, blanket, wardrobe, dresser, nightstand, lamp, and curtains.
  3. Living Room: Sofa, TV, coffee table, bookshelf, end tables, lamps, and rugs.
  4. bathroom: Towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, shower curtain, bathtub or shower, toilet, and sink.
  5. Study/Office Room: Desk,chair,books,computer,printer,file cabinet,and lamp.
  6. Dining Room: dining table, chairs, tableware, napkins, tablecloth, and serving dishes.
  7. Toilet: Toilet bowl, tissue paper, hand wash, towel, and cleaning supplies.
  8. Veranda: Chairs, table, flowers, and decorations.
