Lesson Content
Effects of Inadequate Rest and Sleep
What happens when we don’t get enough sleep? It affects our bodies and minds in many ways.
Feeling Tired
Lack of sleep makes us feel very tired during the day. This makes it hard to play, learn, and do things we enjoy.

Getting Sick More Easily
Not enough sleep weakens our bodies, making us more likely to get sick. Sleep helps our bodies repair themselves and fight off infections.
feeling Grumpy
When tired, we might feel grumpy or easily upset. We might not be as happy and patient.
Finding It Hard to Remember
