Writing Numbers in Millions
Millions come after thousands. A million has six zeros (1,000,000).
To write numbers in millions, read each group of three digits and state its place value.
Example:
- Write “Five million, two hundred thousand, one hundred and fifty” in figures.
- Write ( 14,305,678 ) in words.

Fourteen million, three hundred and five thousand, six hundred and seventy-eight.
Writing Numbers in Billions
Billions come after millions. A billion has nine zeros (1,000,000,000).
Example:
- Write “Two billion, five hundred million, three hundred thousand, and seventy-five” in figures.
- Write ( 7,000,000,000 ) in words.

Writing Numbers in Trillions
Trillions come after billions. A trillion has twelve zeros (1,000,000,000,000).
Example:

Solution:
