Cooking tools help us prepare food easily and safely. We use different tools for cutting, stirring, heating, and mixing food.

Uses Of Cooking Tools

Each cooking tool has a special use that helps us cook properly.

These include:

  1. Spoon is used to stir food
  2. Pot is used to cook food on fire
  3. Knife is used to cut food items
  4. Grater is used to shred vegetables
  5. Gas stove is used to boil or fry food
  6. Frying pan is used to fry food
  7. Measuring cup is used to measure ingredients
  8. Colander is used to drain water from food
  9. Mixing bowl is used to mix ingredients
  10. Blender is used to blend or grind food items
  11. Ladle is used to serve soups and stews
  12. Tongs are used to grip and lift hot foods
