Lesson Content/Board Summary
Jesus Our Saviour: Saving Acts
What are Saving Acts of Jesus?
Saving acts of Jesus are the wonderful things Jesus did to help people. He showed His power and love by healing the sick, protecting from danger, and forgiving sins. These acts show that Jesus cares for us and wants to save us.
Examples of Jesus’ Saving Acts
- Jesus Healed the Blind Man: Jesus touched a blind man, and he could see again. This shows that Jesus has power to heal and cares for those who cannot see. (Mark 8:22-26)
- Jesus Calmed the Storm: When Jesus and His disciples were in a boat, a big storm came. Jesus spoke to the storm, and it became calm. This shows that Jesus has power over nature and can protect us from danger. (Mark 4:35-41)
- Jesus Forgave Sins: Jesus forgave a man who could not walk. He told the man his sins were forgiven, and then told him to get up and walk. This shows that Jesus has power to forgive sins and make us whole. (Mark 2:1-12)
Memory Verse
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
