Teacher Guide for Using This Lesson Plan
Before the lesson, ensure you have your Holy Bible, charts depicting Jesus’ saving acts, and a memory verse chart ready. Begin by engaging pupils with a simple question about showing thanks to set the stage for understanding responses to Jesus. Guide the discussion on Christian responses using clear, age-appropriate language and relatable examples. Encourage pupils to actively participate and share their thoughts. When teaching the memory verse, use repetition and a clear chart to help with memorization. During the note-taking stage, supervise pupils to ensure they copy the main points correctly. Provide individual support to weaker learners and encourage faster learners to think more deeply about the practical applications of the lesson. Always check for understanding throughout the lesson by asking questions and observing pupil engagement.
