Our Good Work
God wants us to do good things, but our good work cannot take away our sins. Only Jesus can save us from sin and punishment. That is why we must believe in Him to be saved.

Why Good Works Cannot Save Us
Good works are nice and helpful, but they cannot clean our hearts. Only Jesus can clean our hearts from sin. The Bible says that everyone has sinned. because of sin, we need a Saviour. Our good actions do not remove sin, but Jesus died to do that for us.
Examples of Good Works That Cannot Save
The following are good actions that people do,but they cannot save us from sin:
- Giving to the poor
- Going to church every Sunday
- Helping others
- Obeying our parents
- Being kind to friends
- Cleaning the church
- Praying many times a day
- Fasting often
What Can Save Us
Only Jesus can save us from sin. He is the Son of God who came to die for our sins. When we believe in Jesus and ask Him to forgive us, He washes our hearts clean. This is called salvation.
