Land is very important because it is used for many activities.

The following are some uses of land:

1. Cultivation:

Land is used to grow crops like maize, yam, and rice. This means that farmers plant seeds in the soil and take care of the plants until they are ready for harvest. Other examples include:
1. Planting cassava for garri production.2. Growing vegetables like tomatoes and peppers.
3. Cultivating cocoa and palm trees for export.

1. Grazing:

Land provides food for animals like cows, goats, and sheep. This is called grazing. Animals eat grass and other plants from grazing fields. Other examples include:
1. Cattle grazing on grasslands in the savanna.
2. Goats and sheep feeding on vegetation in rural areas.
3. Poultry farming were chickens roam freely on land.

1. Road Construction:

Roads are built on land to help us move from one place to another. This makes transportation easy and fast. Other examples include:
1. Building highways to connect cities.
2. Constructing rural roads to access farming areas.
3. Creating pathways for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
