Formation Of political Parties
Political parties are groups of people with shared ideas who come together to contest elections and govern. Political parties are formed when a group of people with shared ideas and goals come together to participate in governance and serve the people.
The stages involved in the formation of political parties are:
- Shared Vision: A group of people must share common beliefs about how the country should be governed. This means they agree on issues like education, healthcare, security, and the economy.
- Name and Symbol: the group chooses a unique name and a symbol to represent their party. This helps people identify the party during elections.
- Registration: The group must register their political party with the government body responsible for elections.
- Party Constitution: They create rules and guidelines for how the party will operate.
- Membership Drive: the party invites people to join by sharing their ideas and plans for improving the country.
