Hospitality means being kind and welcoming to people, especially strangers. God wants us to treat others with love and care, just as we would treat Him.

Bible Story: Abraham Welcomes Visitors

One day, Abraham was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day. He saw three men standing nearby. He quickly ran to meet them and bowed down to welcome them.

Abraham offered them water to wash their feet and a place to rest. He told Sarah to prepare food, and he served them the best he had. These visitors were angels, and one of them was the Lord.

Because of Abraham’s kindness, God blessed him and told him that Sarah would have a son.

Importance of Being Hospitable

The following are reasons why it is important to be hospitable:

It shows love and kindness to others
It makes visitors feel welcome and happy
It pleases God when we help others
It brings blessings from God
It teaches us to care for one another
