Ethnicity means treating people better or worse because of where they come from. It causes problems when people only support their own tribe. This lesson teaches us why ethnicity happens and how to stop it.1. nepotism: Nepotism happens when people give jobs, help, or special treatment only to their family or tribe members.It is indeed not fair and can cause problems in the country.

2. Discrimination: Discrimination is when people are treated badly because of where they come from, what they look like, or what they believe.

3.Resource Allocation: This means how things like money, jobs, and buildings are shared in a country. ethnicity causes these things to be shared unfairly.

Nepotism, Discrimination and Unfair Allocation

Nepotism is unfairly favouring relatives or close associates, especially in appointments or benefits, instead of using merit and fair rules. Ethnic discrimination treats a person unfairly because of the person’s group. Unfair resource allocation may deepen the feeling that some communities do not matter.

These practices can increase resentment and weaken national unity. Transparent criteria, equal opportunity, public accountability and lawful complaint systems help reduce them.
