Meaning of Boiling

Boiling is the rapid change of a liquid into vapour when heat is applied and the liquid reaches its boiling point.

  4. Temperature remains constant during boiling
Meaning of Evaporation

Evaporation is the slow change of a liquid into vapour from the surface of the liquid at any temperature below the boiling point.

  4. Causes cooling of the liquid and surrounding surface
