Animal farm tools are things used by farmers to catch or manage animals like fish. In this lesson, we will learn about three simple tools used in fish farming.

1. Fishing Net: A fishing net is used to catch many fish at once. It is made from rope or thread and has small holes.

The following are uses of fishing net:

1. used to trap fish in rivers or ponds
2. Helps farmers catch large numbers of fish
3. Can be used by hand or tied to boats
4. Used in commercial fishing to harvest large quantities of fish from the ocean.
5. Helps in selective fishing, targeting specific sizes or types of fish.
6. Can be repaired and reused, making it a sustainable fishing method.

2. Fishing Trap: A fishing trap is a tool made from wire or wood that catches fish by making them swim in but not out.

These include:

1. Used to catch fish in shallow water
2. Works without needing much attention
3. Allows farmers to catch fish safely
4. Can be designed to target specific species of fish.
5. Effective in areas with strong currents or tides.
6. Can be used in both fresh and saltwater environments.

3. hook and Line: A hook and line is a simple fishing tool made with a string and sharp hook. A bait is put on the hook to attract fish. It is used to do the following;

1. Used to catch one fish at a time
2. Helps catch big fish without a net
3. Good for fishing in small rivers or lakes
4. Allows for a more targeted approach to fishing.
5. Can be used from the shore, a boat, or even under the ice.
6. Requires skill and patience to successfully catch fish.
