1. Food Consumption: yams and potatoes are common staple foods, boiled, roasted, or mashed.
2. Processing into Flour: Tuber crops become flour for foods like Poundo yam or potato flour.
3. Snack Production: Sliced and fried, they make snacks like potato chips or fried yam.
4. Beverage Production: Cassava makes beverages like garri or tapioca.
5. Livestock Feed: They provide nutritious feed for animals.
6. Industrial Starch Production: Cassava is a major source of industrial starch.
