Ngwaa na-enyere ụmụ akwụkwọ ịmepụta ahịrịokwu ziri ezi n’asụsụ Igbo, ebe omenala na-akụziri ha usoro ndụ na ọchịchị ndị Igbo. Ịgụ abụ na-enyere ha ịghọta asụsụ, echiche, na nkwupụta n’ụzọ doro anya.

Nkọwa Ngwaa

Ngwaa bụ okwu na-egosi omume, mmegharị, ma ọ bụ ọnọdụ mmadụ ma ọ bụ ihe.

Ụdị Ngwaa

The following are ụdị ngwaa:

  • Ngwaa Omume (Action verb): na-egosi ihe a na-eme, dịka “gba,” “rie,” “gụọ.”
  • Ngwaa Ọnọdụ (State/condition verb): na-egosi ọnọdụ, dịka “nọ,” “dị,” “mara.”
  • Ngwaa Nkwado (Helping/Auxiliary verb): na-enyere ngwaa ọzọ ike, dịka “ga,” “na-,” “kwesịrị.”

Ịrụgosi Ngwaa n’Ahịrịokwu

The following are examples of ngwaa in sentences:

  • “Ada gụrụ akwụkwọ.” (ngwaa: gụrụ)
  • “Ha ga abịa echi.” (ngwaa nkwado: ga; ngwaa omume: abịa)

Usoro Ọchịchị Ọdịnala Igbo

The following are akụkụ na usoro dị n’ọchịchị ọdịnala Igbo:

  • Ndị Okenye/Ọgbọ Nna (Council of elders): na-enye ndụmọdụ, na-ekpe ikpe, na-ahụ maka udo.
  • Igwe/Obi (Eze/Traditional ruler) n’ebe ụfọdụ: na-anọchi anya obodo, na-ahụ maka ntụziaka na mmekọrịta.
  • Ndị Ichie na Ndị Nze na Ọzọ (Title holders): na-enyere n’iwu obodo na omume ọdịnala.
