Nkọwa Nkeji Asụsụ Igbo

Nkeji asụsụ (morpheme) bụ akụkụ okwu kacha nta nwere ihe ọ pụtara ma ọ bụ ọrụ gramà n’okwu Igbo.

Ụdị Nkeji Asụsụ

The following are types of morphemes in Igbo:

  • Nkeji asụsụ nwere onwe ya (free morpheme): akụkụ okwu nwere ike iguzo naanị ya dịka okwu.
  • Nkeji asụsụ na-enweghị onwe ya (bound morpheme): akụkụ okwu na-apụghị iguzo naanị ya; a na-agbakwunye ya n’okwu ọzọ.

Ihe atụ nke Nkeji Asụsụ na Okwu Igbo

The following are examples of morphemes in Igbo words:

  • “a-” n’okwu dịka “a-ga”, “a-bịa” (nkeji asụsụ na-enweghị onwe ya).
  • “-rị/-ra” n’okwu dịka “gụrụ”, “sịrị” (nkeji asụsụ na-enweghị onwe ya).

OMENALA: Nkọwa Agwa (Kọlọ)

Agwa (kọlọ) bụ ụdị agba mmadụ na-ahụ, a na-ejikwa ya eme ihe n’akụkụ uwe, emume, akara, na omume omenala.

Agwa Kọlọ: Oji, Odo, Ọcha

The following are common colours and what they may represent in culture:

  • Oji: nwere ike igosi iru uju, ncheta, ma ọ bụ ịdị arọ nke ọnọdụ (dabere n’emume na ebe).
  • Odo: nwere ike igosi ọṅụ, ìhè, ume, ma ọ bụ ngọzi n’emume ụfọdụ.
  • Ọcha: nwere ike igosi ịdị ọcha, udo, ezi omume, ma ọ bụ ihe dị nsọ n’ọtụtụ ọnọdụ.
