Note for teachers using this lesson plan

Ensure pupils can identify mkpọaha before demanding many sentences, and correct errors in question formation gently. During the culture section, use familiar local examples and stress hygiene and safety in food preparation. Keep poem selection short for the period and focus on theme, message, and a few key words to build understanding.
