Sun,Fuel And Water sources of energy
Energy is what we use to do work. Energy comes from many sources around us. The sun, fuel like petrol and kerosene, and water are examples of energy sources. These sources help us in many ways at home, in school, and everywhere we go.
Sun as a Source of Energy
The sun gives us solar energy. Solar energy is the light and heat we get from the sun. We use this energy to dry clothes, dry food, and warm our houses. With the help of solar panels, we can turn the sun’s energy into electricity to power homes and schools.
Fuel as a Source of Energy
Fuel includes things like petrol,kerosene,coal,and diesel. These fuels are burned to produce energy. We use fuel in generators, stoves, and cars. Petrol and diesel help us move from one place to another in cars and buses. Kerosene is used in cooking stoves and lamps.
Water as a Source of Energy
Flowing water can produce energy. This kind of energy is called hydroelectric power. Dams are built to store water and use it to turn machines that produce electricity. Water energy is clean and does not cause pollution.
Uses of These Sources of Energy
Each source of energy has special uses. The following are examples:
- Sun: For drying clothes and food, warming houses, and producing electricity.
- Fuel: For cooking, moving vehicles, and generating electricity.
- Water: for producing electricity and running machines in factories.
