Airplanes transport passengers and cargo. Their wings create lift during flight. Examples are:

  1. #### Helicopters

Helicopters take off and land vertically using a rotating blade system (rotor) for lift. They’re used for transportation, rescue, and aerial photography. Examples are:

  1. #### Hot air Balloons

hot air balloons are lighter-than-air vehicles using hot air for lift. They’re ofen used for leisure and tourism. The hot air, being less dense than the surrounding air, makes the balloon rise.

  1. #### Blimps

Blimps are lighter-than-air airships, often used for advertising or surveillance. They are filled with buoyant helium or hydrogen gas.

  1. #### Gliders

Gliders are engineless aircraft that glide using air currents to stay aloft. They are often used recreationally and can soar long distances.
