Definition of Market

A market is a place where buyers and sellers meet to exchange goods and services. It can be a physical location or an online platform.

Definition of Marketing of Farm Produce

Marketing of farm produce involves all the activities required to move farm products from the farm to the final consumer.This includes activities like harvesting, processing, packaging, transportation, storage, and selling.



Market and Marketing

A market is an arrangement or place where buyers and sellers exchange goods or services. Marketing is the wider process of identifying needs, planning a product, pricing, promotion, distribution, selling and customer service.

A physical farm market, shop, cooperative and online platform can all connect buyers and sellers. Marketing begins before sale and continues through delivery and feedback.
