1. Engine to Clutch Connection

The engine’s crankshaft is connected to the flywheel. The clutch assembly is bolted to the flywheel. The clutch connects and disconnects the engine from the gearbox, allowing for smooth gear changes and stopping without stalling the engine.

2. Gearbox (Manual Transmission)

The gearbox, also known as the transmission, contains a series of gears that allow the driver to select different gear ratios. Its function is to:

  • Increase or decrease the torque and speed transmitted to the wheels.
  • Provide a reverse gear for moving backward.
  • Provide a neutral position to disconnect the engine from the drive wheels.

4. Universal Joints

5. Rear Axle Assembly
