Oblique Drawing of Shaped Blocks and Geometrical Solids

To draw shaped blocks and geometrical solids in oblique projection, one face of the object is drawn true to size, parallel to the front plane. The receding lines are then drawn from the corners of this face at a chosen angle and length (full or half, depending on the method).

Differences Between Isometric and Oblique Drawings
